More Katrina (KLA + Legislative Monitoring for NESRI)
International Labor Rights Fund (the Wal-Mart labor suit)
Continuation of almost all projects – except maybe CHRGJ/disappearances, CCR, some Katrina work.

Katrina Legal Aid – Rebekah Cook-Mack rcm258@nyu.edu
i. FEMA underway
1. Members are looking for FEMA sites in NYC and attempting to see what services are offered there
ii. Insurance research (project from a UConn professor who’s part of KLA)
1. Envisioned final product is a memo.
2. We need to move fast on this one for obvious reasons.
3. We could use at least one person for each question (other law schools will be sending people too).
CEDAW – Jenny Tancredi jgt224@nyu.edu
i. Could use 3 or more people
ii. Involves CEDAW implementation in Nigeria
iii. Final product will be used by UNIFEM in Abuja (where Jenny worked last summer)
CCR/Guantanamo – Sarah
i. An attorney at CCR (Tina Foster) needs a total of 15 hours/week of factual research and monitoring of current cases – less writing-heavy than other things
ii. Ideally we’d like to get 5 people on this
Int’l Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission– Jes
i. Two research questions related to freedom of expression and morality legislation in Mexico.

i. Members are looking into land rights in Nepal
